Last week I met with Joe at a local Golf Course for his senior session. It was a nice backdrop as he has plans to golf for a local college here in Kentucky. The course was beautiful and the day could not have been any nicer. In many ways he was my tour guide as we set out on one of the golf cart to begin the session. He drove and I rode along as a spotter looking for anything that might provide some interest other than the obvious green and tee box shots. I asked for all the things that golfers try to avoid : water, woods, fence lines, etc. The plan worked well and it was one of the more memorable sessions that I've worked. Today I want to share some of my favorites here on the blog :

Wow, it was a crazy week with many sessions and a bridal show so needless to say, I got behind in my blogging schedule! You can expect several posts this week as I begin to catch up again. Today I'm starting with a session from Monday afternoon. I met Matthew and his mom at Keeneland Race Course for his session. It was a perfect day and he was easy going and great to work with during the late afternoon. I'll be honest, I could have shared many more but I thought these were a good representation of how things went without getting carried away.

It's been a while since I've posted a blog and I hope all of you are looking forward to the spring season as much as myself. Things here are preparing to become quite a bit busier in the coming weeks and I can't wait to share photos from these upcoming sessions and get back in the swing of things.
Today I want to share a few favorites from Saturday. I'm kicking off the spring schedule with Lauren, one of my 2018 Senior Reps! Lauren and I met at Keeneland Race Course here in Lexington Ky to begin her senior photography session. It was a bit cooler, an understatement really, than forecasted but she did a great job nonetheless and I love the results from the day. As I look back, I really enjoyed learning about her and meeting her parents during the time we spent together. Despite the cold spring day, I think we all had a good time and I want to share a few of the photos with you here on my blog!
Make Up Creds : Kelli Marshall!
Have a great day everyone!

This beautiful girl was born on Christmas day and I can't think of any present that would compare! Unfortunately, on Christmas, there were no photographers working the hospital so she did not get the customary newborn photo before she left. I was more than happy to make a visit to her house for a newborn session on location. We made good use out of a Christmas stocking, a bow, and her nursery as well. She was great and mom had to work to get her to open those eyes but in the end we got the photo! Today I want to share a few of the photos from her session here on my blog. Thanks for checking them out and I hope you all have a nice weekend!

Sarah wanted to come back for another session last weekend and I can't blame her. I mean, who doesn't like fall? The cool weather gives one the chance for a new wardrobe of layered clothing that is simply too warm for those summer sessions. Add the clothing layers to the colors of fall and the setting is perfect for photos in my opinion. We met here in Lexington and, although a bit cool, it was a nice chance to work with her again! The session was a lot of fun and I enjoyed spending more time with her and her mom chasing the fading light that was falling over the western horizon. Working quickly, we were able to get some great shots in before it set ever so quickly as it does this time of year. Today I want to share some a few of my favorites from the afternoon.....
