I have to admit, I was torn about this post. This little man had a hospital visit and a newborn session within 4 days and I thought about making two blogs but decided to just combine them into this one. The problem with that is that this post might contain too much coolness in one place! This newborn already rocks, has a wonderful big brother, and very cool parents - he's starting on a solid foundation to say the least. So, here's a look at a few of my favorites from both sessions. I'll begin with the hospital session (black/white) and finish with the newborn home visit (color). Enjoy!

I met with one of my favorite families on Sunday morning for a session the day before their youngest turned one. I've worked with them before on numerous occasions now and this session went about as smooth as we could have hoped for. Two boys, a red wagon, a little music, and a bubble machine all combined for fun times in the park. They played and I took photos - that's pretty much the way it worked, and it worked well. Best of all, we were able to top the day off with a family session as well. Here's a look at a few photos from our time together :

I spent yesterday morning with Saydie shooting her senior photos here in Lexington Ky. To say it's always entertaining to be around her would be an understatement and that was certainly the case yesterday. Whether she was climbing trees ,jumping on and off brick walls, or taking time to pick a few wildflowers, she seemed to be enjoying herself despite the 8:30 am start time (those of you with teenagers know what I mean). Time literally flew by and before we realized it, the session was over but not before we were able to shoot some great photos. Today I wanted to share a few from the session here on my blog. Enjoy!

I'm wrapping up what has been a flurry of blog posts this week after two busy weeks of shooting by highlighting another senior representative. Summer secured the most amazing location in Lexington and I could not wait to see it myself. Needless to say, when we arrived Sunday evening, it did not disappoint. Surrounded by a beautiful house, a lush green lawn, and immaculate landscaping, my job was easy. We spent ample time in the garden before saying goodbye and heading off to finish the evening at other locations. The time passed quickly as it always does when you're having fun! If you're a local senior and know Summer make sure you ask her about her session and how she can help you book one as well. Here's a look at a few highlights from the evening :

Today I have the pleasure of introducing another 2016 Senior Rep - Abby! Abby will be a senior at Lafayette and I had a fun time working with her on Sunday morning. She did an amazing job as we worked our way across downtown Lexington -- always a good backdrop for portraits. It was fun to watch her personality shine as the session progressed during the morning hours. I believe she would tell you she enjoyed herself and had a good time. If you're a local senior and know her, ask her about the experience. She'll also be able to tell you how you can book a session as well! Thanks for your help Abby, here's a small sample from your session :
