Wedding blogs are always a favorite of mine and I can't say enough good things about this wedding last weekend. I had such a fun time working with this couple, and the entire wedding party, at Talon Winery on Saturday and have been looking forward to sharing some of their photos this week. They exchanged vows in front of close friends and a very caring family overlooking the beautiful backdrop of a picture perfect Kentucky countryside. The vineyard was beautiful with the vines just beginning to sprout for another season and their barn provided a nice break from the early summer heat. I had a hard time picking out my favorites for the blog but have finally narrowed it down to these. I need to give some vendor love as well for the beautiful day!

Senior Session With Cristina | {Lexington Ky Photographers}
I'm wrapped up my 2018 senior sessions with this session last weekend. There's nothing like finishing strong and that's exactly what we accomplished! She was phenomenal and worked great in front of the camera despite rapidly falling evening temperatures. We hit some of my favorite locations and found a couple of new ones as well which is always a plus. I have no doubt that she has a bright future ahead of her as she heads off to continue her education in college. Today though, I am sharing some of my favorites from her photo shoot here on my blog. Baby Make Three - Boys That Is! | {Lexington Ky Photographers}
I realize that I've been doing this photography dream of mine for some time when I watch my families grow. This is now the second family I work with that has been blessed with three boys and I've had the opportunity to photograph each of them from the beginning. Wow, it's been a lot of fun watching what goes on behind the scenes - I have stories to tell!
This family is very close to my family and me. We've enjoyed watching each boy grow and their personalities develop. I have no doubt that this little guy is going to be in good hands as he gets older with his two brothers watching his back! Mom chose the theme of 'buddies forever' and I'm certain that will be the case. Here's a preview from this session :
Senior Session With Kailey! | {Lexington Ky Senior Photographers}
I wrapped up a full photo weekend last Sunday evening working on this session with Kailey. It's always good to finish strong and that's exactly what we did as we wrapped up a couple of hours in downtown Lexington. We didn't let a few rain drops dampen our mood and she was absolutely great to work with. It's hard to believe that I first worked with her and one of my senior reps at a 12th birthday photo shoot - my how time flies! Today I am sharing a little preview from Sunday, enjoy!
The Graduation Session | {Lexington Ky Photographer}
Sometimes you meet a couple and realize that they're going to be perfect for each other. That's just the case with these two. I worked with them last year on their engagement photos and will be documenting their wedding day in June. Last weekend they wanted a graduation session to remember their time at the University of Kentucky. We walked what seemed like the entire campus and hit all the photo hot spots as well as stopping by their individual colleges as well. I had a fun time getting to know more about them during the walks in between shots. That leads me back to the opening sentence. They have a good head on their shoulders, degrees in hand, a job lined up, and a wedding in June - perfect! Oh, and they like good BBQ, biscuits and jelly, he's into photography, she's graduating with a degree in education which my daughter is currently pursuing and I could go on and on but I think you get the picture!
