Wedding Day For Annie And Michael! | {Lexington Ky Wedding Photographers}

Last Saturday I spent a few hours with Annie and Michael documenting their wedding.  The venue was the chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church and the seats were filled with their families.  The importance of family and their faith could not be missed and I loved the beauty in the simplicity of their wedding.   There was much love and happiness in the room as they exchanged vows in a ceremony led by two good friends.  Today on my blog I am sharing a few photos from the day!

2018 Senior Rep - Madi | { Lexington KY Senior Photographers}

It's been quite a productive two weeks here at Dwayne Lloyd Photography and today I'd like to share another 2018 Senior Rep.  I am posting a few of my favorite photos from last weekend's session with Madi, a senior at Lafayette High School.  I loved working with her and enjoyed her sense of adventure as we tried some new ideas and locations downtown.  It was a perfect evening and we took advantage of that by walking several blocks to most of the locations before finishing on top of a parking garage.  She has a great attitude and a contagious smile that's reflective of her personality.  I look forward to working with her this year!

2018 Senior Rep - Seth! | {Lexington Ky Photographers}

Today I'd like to introduce 2018 Senior Rep Seth!  I worked with him for a few hours on Saturday evening here in Lexington Ky at a couple of my favorite locations.  Seth is a car guy and we wanted to capture that in his session - even borrowing Dad's corvette for a few shots.  He's also a  member of the Lafayette Soccer Team, so I thought bringing out the lights for both of those interests could be a fun idea.  I think it paid off with some great shots to go along with his traditional looks in natural light.  At the end of the session I thought we had a well rounded representation of his personality and we called it a night.  I had fun and think he did as well.  It's always nice to work with seniors and see their interests captured in the final images.  I want to share some of those on the blog today!

Wedding Day For Anna & Bill! | {Lexington Ky Wedding Photographers}

I had to pleasure to work with Anna and Bill last Saturday as they exchanged wedding vows in the company of close friends and family.  The ceremony was held at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Lexington Ky, one of the oldest churches in the city, which provided a magnificent backdrop.  I can't say enough about the beautiful gardens, architecture, and lighting that cascades through the stained glass windows.  The reception followed at the Bodley-Bullock house, another historical treasure, that was just a quick walk away and was catered by DaRae And Friends Catering.  The time spent together passed quickly and listening to the toasts, I came to realize that these two were both people that wish you had a chance to meet years ago.  They were surrounded by their family and the smiles on their faces were contagious.   I think that a good time was had by all and know that their future will be bright.  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hacker!  This is a little look back at your day :

Well Hello Beautiful! | {Lexington Ky Family Photographers}

Sunday was one of those days when you suddenly realize how long you've been working with certain clients.  When one of your favorite families bring their newest addition and then you remember that you photographed their oldest child when he was the same age.  It's probably the best compliment a client could give and yet time flies so you don't realize exactly how long you've been working together.  Watching families grow - that's one of the perks of this job.  It was good to catch up on Sunday and work with them again.  Their baby girl is beautiful and her big brother is going to do a fine job.  Watching him interact with her left no doubts about that at all.  These are some of my favorites that jumped out at me as I began editing their session and I wanted to post those here on my blog:
