Engagement Session With Jessie and Thomas! | {Lexington KY Wedding Photographers}

I love the engagement sessions that are included with my wedding plans.  They are a great way for me to work with couples and get to see how they act both naturally and in front of the camera.  It's also a good chance to familiarize myself with both of them before their wedding day in a relaxed and casual setting.  Judging by the way things went last Sunday morning working with Jessie and Thomas, things are going to be a lot of fun next June on their wedding day!  We all had several common interests and working together was effortless and entertaining.  They're natural in front of the camera which made my morning easy.  Tonight on my blog I'd like to share some photos from their session!

Friday Night Lights | {Lexington Ky Senior Photographers}

When you thing about high school football you think about Friday Night Lights.  Therefore, when doing a football senior session, it's always a great opportunity to bring the studio lights in to provide some photographic drama.  Having access to the weight room or locker room is also ideal and the scene is then perfect for capturing these fun shots.  Matthew was a lot of fun to work with and busted out into huge smiles and laughter quite often - I think he enjoyed the session!  Today I want to share some of his photos with you here on the blog.  I also want to wish him and his teammates good luck tonight under the lights!

2018 Senior - Lauren! | {Lexington Ky Senior Photographers}

At one point during our session last weekend I just asked if she had ever thought about modeling?  After you take a look as these favorites you might agree.  Before I get ahead of myself, let me introduce you to 2018 senior Lauren!  We met one morning this past weekend and had a fabulous session.  She was more than prepared with coordinating jewelry, shoes, and outfit changes.  Working with her was a lot of fun as we had a lot of common interests and plenty of laughs during our time together in downtown Lexington.  I had a hard time picking just a few so there are plenty of pics here on the blog today that showcase her style and personality.   I'll let you look and try to choose a favorite because I had a hard time doing so.....

2018 Senior Rep Emma (part 2) | {Lexington Ky Senior Photographers}

You might recognize Emma from a prior post on this blog.  We did part of her session a little over a week ago as she had a ankle injury on both feet and walking was extremely difficult.  Needless to say it was not a good situation for creek photos and was barely tolerable for our first session.  Now fully recovered, we met again Wednesday evening for the remainder of her session in a local park.  I had no idea when I set the session that this was where she spent most of her childhood with her friends.  What better place to shoot a senior session?! She knew all the nooks and crannies of the area and we explored what seemed like every one. It was a blast and I had a great time listening to her tales of childhood, the games they played, and their imaginary 'Bridge To Terabithia'.  Good times and great memories, just like your senior year of high school.  It was a perfect match and I want to share some of those photos on my blog today!

A Great Night For A Twin Session! | {Lexington Ky Senior Photographers}

It's been a great week for sessions here in Kentucky.  The weather has been cool and the sunsets have been fabulous.  Those two factors made for a great evening Tuesday when I met these twins downtown to begin their session.  Although the scene there was fantastic, we saved the best for last and headed to a local golf course to finish the session.  Both brothers are on the high school golf team so the backdrop was fitting and appropriate.  I think they had a good time in their natural habitat and enjoyed the evening golf cart ride along the scenic paths.  We found some nice places to stop, take a few shots, and move on to discover another great setting before finally ending up back at the club house.  Tonight I want to share several of their shots here on my blog!
