This was another one of those sessions that puts my photography journey into perspective.   It was time for this little guy's first birthday session but it seemed like only yesterday that I was photographing the newborn session for his four year old sister!  Time flies and I will admit that I lose track of how long I have worked with certain families.  Once realized, it becomes the greatest compliment that I think anyone could receive regardless of their line of work.   They happen to be one of my favorite families and it was great to see them again here in Lexington.  I could not believe how much their son had grown since his six month session and those blue eyes! WOW did they pop in the shots!  His older sister has changed a lot as well and she decided that she was now ready to pose for the camera and call her own shots which is always fun.  I'll just say it was great to work with both of them during our time together and I love the resulting images.
